Edison Pen Collier Blue Steel Fountain Pen   by ARISTIDIS XINOS Date Added: Thursday 31 October, 2019
Edison Pen Collier Blue Steel Fountain Pen

Fantastic dark blue/black and perlized cyan color waves variation, changing under different light angle. Light and perfect balanced. Excellent nib performance 18K Extra Fine. Very wet, smooth, with light nice feedback, precise and clear lines in various papers. The nib is medium hard, but softer than eg. aurora 88 fine, gvfc intuition platino wood extra fine etc. Very pleasant writing experience for extra fine nib. The line of the nib is close to Cross Peerless fine nib. Once more time best credits to La Couronne Du Comte team.

Pelikan Fountain Pen Yellow Highlighter Ink - Ink Bottle   by Geoffrey Chaudoir Date Added: Monday 21 October, 2019
Pelikan Fountain Pen Yellow Highlighter Ink - Ink Bottle

I had a TWSBI Diamond Mini Clear with a stub 1.5 nib, filled with Pelikan M205 DUO Highlighter ink. It was a great combo, or so i thought, as the pen body broke unexpectedly. I keep wondering if this special ink somehow damaged the plastic or if there was some flaw in the pen. First fountain pen that just disintegrated in my hands. I have another TWSBI filled with "normal" ink that is still doing well despite being used a lot more so i'll be cautious about using this ink again.

Cross Peerless 125 Translucent Titanium Grey Fountain Pen   by ARISTIDIS XINOS Date Added: Tuesday 10 September, 2019
Cross Peerless 125 Translucent Titanium Grey Fountain Pen

Very well balanced pen unposted and easy to write long periods because is not too heavy and the section is perfect. The color of the pen is not really true grey but much more greenish / brownish metallic shade. The most important on that pen is the superb performance of the 18K nib (made by Sailor), The fine nib gives a true fine line which maybe tends to extra fine line (very close to EF of GVFC intuition) if the paper is glossy or similar to Rhodia, but is a pleasure to write with: wet enough, very precise lines, very pleasure feeling,no skips. In my opinion is the best nib for cheaper papers (copy A4) to write quick and precise notes. It behaves perfect with the KWZ green hunter ink (wet and perfect flow) and Edelstein tanzanite. With Diamine Beau Blue gives a poor writing performance. Overall is a very good value for money choice, especially for daily use in copy A4 or similar papers or for very sharp/precise writing. Once more time thanks to La Couronne Du Comte team for support and service

Montblanc Great Characters James Dean Fountain Pen (S.E.)   by Andrey Logan Date Added: Friday 07 June, 2019
Montblanc Great Characters James Dean Fountain Pen (S.E.)

I was able to purchase this fine writing instrument from La Couronne de Comte, their service is stellar and communication from seller is timely. I ordered an OBB nib and had them check the fountain pen before sending it to me.I have been using the fountain for a few weeks now and it just glides on paper, the nib smooth and brings out the best in inks. I specially love the tactile feel while holding this pen, tho I usualy write posted with my pens, I feel this one has a good enough weight to keep it balanced unposted as the cap tends to be heavy, and trying to post the cap to the barrel is impossible. I never thought I would be using a pen unposted, but the James Dean made me change my mind. It is simply a wonderful tactile pen with a beautiful detailed nib, and who wouldn't fall in love with the colour on this fountain pen?
