Onoto Royal Ballet Aspirations Mauve Fountain Pen (L.E.)
Commissioned by The Royal Opera House to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of The Royal Ballet, the Aspirations range captures the spirit of ballet in light, delicate tones with a hint of fun and the exuberance of youth.

The vitreous enamel colours applied over sterling silver, each Aspirations pen incorporates a ballerina icon engraved into the precious metal body of the pen. Translucent enamel is then applied over the engraving using exactly the same techniques as those perfected by Carl Faberg more than 100 years ago, to create a stunning finish.

Put 憄en to paper and you抣l be amazed at the smoothness of the exclusive Onoto #3 nib in 18 ct gold. The nibs are available in standard line widths, special nibs like italic, stub or oblique can be ground to your exact specification by one of the UK's leading nib-masters at a slightly higher price. When you choose a special nib below, we will contact you for the specifications. The pen uses standard international cartridges or the supplied converter.

The pen is produced in a limited edition of 75 pens (in each colour), and each one comes in Royal Ballet presentation box and a signed Certificate of Authenticity, together with an Onoto History booklet, a Royal Ballet History booklet, a Royal Ballet blotter and cleaning cloth to keep your pen in tip-top condition. Also included is a leaflet on 揌ow to care for your Fountain Pen, and a booklet on the English Hall-marks to explain the history of these stamps of quality.

In the history of writing instruments, Onoto stands proud as a name synonymous with innovation and quality. Since its foundation in 1905, Onoto fountain pens have been associated with three specific qualities: firstly, its essential Britishness; secondly, its manufacturing ingenuity and thirdly, its global marketing success.
Onoto became one of the most famous British fountain pen brands in the world, and, records show Onoto pens were used by Winston Churchill, Field Marshal Haig, Natsume Soseki (Japanese writer), Florence Nightingale, and Queen Mary to name just a few.
