Caran d'Ache Crystal White Fountain Pen (Limited Edition)
Caran d扐che and Lalique, the meeting of two companies who represent unique craftsmanship in the world of luxury. With its natural instinct for refinement, the Geneva Maison de Haute Ecriture created a magnificent fine Writing instrument: the Limited Edition Crystal, a unique piece born from the meeting with the legendary French crystal manufacturer, Lalique.

Caran d扐che and Lalique share a passion for beauty and excellence. The two companies have built their reputations and their histories on the basis of an expertise handed down over the generations. At the heart of their respective stories is a deep respect for tradition and a commitment to innovation. Conceived by Caran d扐che and Lalique and produced in their workshops in Geneva and Alsace, it recreates the design codes of Lalique in elegant writing instruments of Fine Writing.

Fine drops of water trickling down... delicate movement, transparency, softness to the touch... When Caran d扐che was looking to give its Fine Writing Instruments a timeless refinement, it was inspired by the famous Coutard motif. This was designed by Ren Lalique in 1935 when the order was placed for the fountain that carries his name. At that time, the decorative arts were experiencing a period of exceptional creativity and the web of droplets represents the magic of two great styles, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
The company抯 craftsmen have succeeded brilliantly in reinterpreting the Coutard motif on the body of the pen. Its silhouette seems to come alive in the hand as if its relief exists for the pleasure of the touch. The satin-brushed crystal cabochon, an icon of Lalique, plays with the light, catches the eye and inspires thought. Drops of water or drops of ink... the urge to write is irresistible, almost like a ritual.

Each pen is limited to 999 pieces and all accents are rhodium finished. The clip contains a diamond (0,03 carat). The pen has an 18 carat gold nib and uses cartridges or a converter.

LALIQUE, Sculptor of Light
Ever since 1878, Lalique has symbolised a savoir-faire that develops in a world where luxury and exceptional creations are present every day. Each piece, from decorative objects to architecture, from lost-wax art objects to perfumes, is made by hand in processes that were inspired by the genius of the founder, Ren Lalique. Over time, the name has become the powerful symbol of a unique expertise, a style characterised by the masterly contrast of clear and satin-brushed crystal. It is a rich heritage that continues to adapt to the dynamism of its times and is entirely comfortable with modernity.
The staff of the Lalique manufacture located in Alsace, includes four of the 揊inest Craftsmen of France who perpetuate the skills, the style, and the name of a brand that is more than a legend: it is an art of living.
