88 Ottantotto Silver Fountain Pen [AU-814/16-FP] |
An unforgettable Italian writing instrument from the 1950s, the legendary Aurora 88 maintains a cult status among fountain pen aficionados. Designed by Marcello Nizzoli (who also designed the iconic Olivetti typewriters), the 88 was the first pen to be exhibited at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. Its understated style and retro appeal are achieved in sterling silver combined with black resin or complete sterling silver.
The 88, in every version, goes beyond the idea of the writing instrument to become a cult object, a status symbol and an ideal gift for yourself or other deserving individuals.
The pen has a 14 kt gold nib and uses cartridges or the supplied converter.
Every Aurora product has a story to tell, an Italian story, a story of modernity and tradition.
Each model, studied and produced with passion and indisputable ability, represents a new step forward in the history of the company, which has always been oriented towards research at the highest standards of luxury and quality.
