Like its counterpart, the Wall Street pens, the Visconti Metropolis takes its inspiration from the soaring skyscrapers and bustling pace of the city. The pens have a modernist design with clean lines and a bold shape that gives you both urban chic and practical, comfortable writing.

Like the city, the Metropolis relies on its infra-structure to make the mechanics of the pen run smoothly with its retractable point on the fountain pen and rollerball. To create the safety pen, a vintage term used to define a retractable mechanism, Visconti crafted a perfect mechanical part and piston filler. Produced with watchmaker precision, the push-and-turn filling mechanism has over 30 components that operate with dependability and ease. A safety cap makes it impossible to close the pen if the point is not retracted. The pen body is smooth and sleek in a titanium gunmetal finish over sterling.
