Delta's Fusion Nib

For its 30th anniversary, Delta introduces its new nib, fully covered by international patent.

Historically, gold nibs were considered to provide the best writing expericence. In these modern times this is not always true: modern technology allows other materials to be as good as or even sometimes better than gold nibs.
This is certainly the case with Delta's new Fusion nib, which gives better functionality and writing comfort. Under pressure 18 karat gold is "melted" together with steel and becomes undivisible. Because of the thermal conductivity of the gold, the steel below warms up and transfers the warmth to the ink in transit between the conductor and pen tip, the result: ink flows more smoothly to the paper.

The Fusion nib is stronger and more durable than a gold nib and provides an excellent writing comfort.

The pen uses standard international cartridges or the supplied converter.
