The Stichting Webshop Keurmerk is since 2001 the association of shops that primarily offer products and services through internet. 

The Webshop Keurmerk aims to protect consumers against web shops that are not reliable. On April 17th, 2008 the Webshop Keurmerk was the first home shopping organization approved by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, The Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa), OPTA (a governmental body and non-departmental agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs that operates as an Autonomous Administrative Authority) and the Dutch Consumers Authority . The Webshop Keurmerk is independent and all members of the Webshop Keurmerk are obliged to meet to European and Dutch laws and the Keurmerk-code. The members of the Webshop Keurmerk have to comply to the conditions. Webshop Keurmerk checks the members and mediates when problems arise.
